Remington Bolt Shroud
Remington 700 and XP-100 Lightweight Bolt Shrouds are manufactured from aircraft quality 7075-T6 aluminum bar stock, and are precision machined on CNC turning and machining centers. They are finished in either black or clear anodize. The black anodized shrouds approximate the look of a blued rifle or pistol, while the clear shroud would have the look of stainless steel. If desired, shrouds are also produced with the round protrusions on the back end machined into an octagon to compliment rifles or pistols with octagonal barrels. The shroud has 2 nylon tipped stainless steel set screws which can be adjusted to eliminate bolt rock, thereby allowing a much lighter trigger pull. This shroud saves 1.4oz. on an XP-100 and 1.2oz. on a 700.
